Select Non-Emergency Appointments
We are in the process of calling and rescheduling all patients who had appointments canceled because of COVID-19. The order in which patients will be called is based on the urgency of their situation and the safety requirements of the procedure. We appreciate the patience of our patients until their appointment can be rescheduled.
As health care providers, we at Beaumont Smile Center put the well-being of our patients and staff first. We want to reassure our patients that we have implemented extra measures beyond the guidelines to protect our patients and staff. Our dental office has the latest technology and has always practiced with universal precautions in regard to infection control. In addition to our existing standards and proper PPE’s, we are screening patients stringently for appointments; patients will check-in at the parking lot via phone then come in when the lobby is disinfected and cleared. Patients will be asked to hand sanitize and their temperature will be taken. Then, patients will be screened again.
Once patients are taken back to the treatment rooms, a disinfecting mouth rinse will be given prior to treatment. In order to address aerosols, each provider will have high volume suctioning devices in the mouth and extra oral aerosol vacuums to ensure all aerosols have been scavenged. In addition, each treatment room will also have medical grade UV air purifiers and our central A/C units will have UV lights installed for enforced reassurance.
Despite these troubling times, we appreciate your cooperation and patience. We at Beaumont Smile Center are excited to return to care for our patients and hope to see you soon!
