Dr. Helene Suh’s passion for dentistry and a similar practice philosophy to Dr. Cascio made for a seamless transition to her ownership of the practice in 2012. We are also very excited to announce the merger of Dr. Charles Harrell to our practice in 2016. Dr. Suh envisions a practice consistently exceeding patients’ expectations. Beaumont Smile Center will base our success in providing the best quality dentistry, complemented by the very best customer service in a state of the art facility. Dr. Helene J. Suh, DDS, FAGD
Dr. Suh is the owner of Beaumont Smile Center. She grew up in Northwest Houston and has resided in Beaumont since 2001. She received her undergraduate degree in Biology at Baylor University, where she also received minors in Chemistry and Music. Dr. Suh also attended Lamar University for masters in business administration and sciences.
She received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Texas School of Dentistry in Houston. Dr. Suh is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, Southeast Texas Dental Society, and serves on the DENPAC board. Dr. Suh is currently serving as President for Southeast Texas Dental Society, and was nominated for the New Dentist of the Year in 2017 and is a Pankey-trained doctor.
She believes that learning never stops professionally and personally. Dr. Suh travels across the country to acquire the latest techniques. She also volunteers her time and dental skills to numerous organizations such as the Texas Mission of Mercy, Smiles on Wheels, Give Kids a Smile, and Dentistry with Heart.
Her passion is in foreign mission trips. She has traveled to numerous countries in Africa, South and Central America annually on mission trips. When Dr. Suh isn’t practicing dentistry, she spends her time with her husband of twenty one years and two children.
Her interests include traveling, attending symphonies, and playing the piano and flute. Dr. Suh is a member of her church choir and enjoys volunteering her time in community services.

Dr. Gerard Cascio, DDS, FAGD
Dr. Gerard Cascio, a proud fourth-generation Texan, was born and raised in Beaumont. He is a graduate of Msgr. Kelly High School, Lamar University, and the University of Texas School of Dentistry in Houston.

Dr. Jeromy Thornton, DDS
Dr. Jeromy L. Thornton was born in Beaumont, Texas, and lived in the small town of Silsbee, Texas, until his graduation from high school. He discovered his passion for dentistry at a very young age.

Dr. Tsu Yin (Katey) Chen, DDS
Dr. Tsu Yin (Katey) Chen, DDS is a compassionate general dentist dedicated to providing high-quality, patient-centered care. She earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University at Buffalo. Dr. Chen has extensive experience in comprehensive dentistry, including restorative, prosthodontic, endodontic, oral surgical, periodontal, and Invisalign® treatment.
Before entering private practice, Dr. Chen proudly served as an active-duty dentist in the United States Navy, providing dental care to service members in diverse and high-demand settings. Her background has strengthened her commitment to precision, integrity, and patient comfort. Dr. Chen is passionate about building long-term relationships with her patients and helping them achieve healthy, confident smiles.

Dr. Andy Song was originally born in Incheron, South Korea and raised in Houston, Texas. He finished his undergraduate degree at the University of Texas at Austin, majoring in Biology. Dr. Song worked for a couple years outside of dentistry before he found his true calling for the profession and relocated to Chicago to complete his degree at Midwestern University. Dr. Song started to get involved with community outreach programs while in dental school and continues to volunteer his time to provide dental care to disadvantaged individuals at the Mission on Mercy.
